[Börje] was the king of our castle, the leader of the pack. He was the one that kept the order in the house, at the same time being the easiest dog there is. In other words, he was a perfect dog. He never started any fights, he only needed to stand up and others realized that now is the time to take it easy.. There hasn´t been any other with such an authority over his pack. The only times one could see him get slightly upset was if some dog was messing with HIS newfie-girls! That was a mistake, he really looked after his ladies.

Börje was a once in a lifetime dog, he was the one who made Jouni realize that newfoundland is the breed for him.

On the 4th of January 2004 we lost our Börje. He was completely normal during that Sunday, went for his morning walk, as usual, ate all the food, as usual. Then we did a little walk to the forest in the afternoon, and there, in the middle of the forest his heart just collapsed. It was the most tragical thing we have ever been involved with, the only (and very slight) comfort is that he didn´t have to suffer for long, but he went very fast, just like that.

His best results from shows included BIS-3 in an all breed national show in Finland -98. He also had a few BOB -wins from Portugal and Spain.

Börje sired all together 5 litters;for kennels Bear Watch, Destellon, and of course at Thalizzmazz .

There will never be another one like him. He will never be forgotten.
